Union de i Ladin di San Vito e dell'Oltreciusa

The Union de i Ladin de San Vido e d'Oltreciusa is an association linked to Dolomites' history, that includes San Vito, Borca and Vodo. It was born in 1996 and aims to keep, value and preserve historical and cultural proof of the territory, the roots and the bonds of the community. It is part of a bigger association, called Federazion par’a unios culturales ladines de ra Dolomites inzé l’Veneto in Borca. The Ladin community and language have been recognized by the Italian government and protected. Ladin area inside the Belluno country includes Cadore, Zoldano, Agordino and Ampezzano.
The association does historical and linguistic researches, publishes its researches, publishes "Par no desmentease" journal four times a year and organizes events to promote and make know ancient traditions.
