Via ferrata degli Alpini, Jau della Tana, Marmarole

The path is partially equipped and is of medium difficulty.
From Calalzo di Cadore, drive to La Stua or to Praciadelan and park there. Go on walking to Chiggiato Refuge (1.911 m) in about 2,30 hours. From the refuge, follow CAI path no. 260 till Sacu pass and then turn left. Go on walking along narrow and dangerous ledges, rise a dirt canal and go down to a little valley. The path climbs up the rocks with turns. Then there are two walls equipped by metal ropes and stairs, and finally Jau della Tana pass (2.650 m). The trip takes about 5 hours walking.
From the pass it's possible to come back to Chiggiato Refuge through Marmarole pass, which is equipped with metal ropes too, or to go down to Bivacco Tiziano and Auronzo di Cadore.
