Hike to Galassi Shelter

It is a characteristic massive stone building situated on the eastern slope of the Forcella Piccola, between the Mount Antelao, the Scotter and Bastioni, in view of the Marmarole mountains that form the scenery of the Val d'Oten. Managed directly by the Mestre Section of the CAI, thanks to its willing members, equipped with a room for educational use with equipment that makes lectures and nature courses possible (projector, overhead projector, etc.), it is the favorite rest stop for climbing Antelao. It is a stopover point for walkers on the High Routes of the Dolomites Nos. 4 and 5.
