Lake Mosigo is a small lake located in the picturesque village of San Vito di Cadore and is the ideal families place for m to relax in summer surrounded by the Dolomites. The lake, also called Lago di San Vito, is not a bathing area as it was artificially created back in 1929 following the reclamation of a marshy area. At the same time, was built the present 'Chalet al Lago' overlooking the lake, which is a restaurant and hotel. Right here you will also find a small bar where you can have a drink. The scenic beauty of this lake is enhanced even more by the mountains that are reflected in its waters: the Antelao, also called the King, being the second highest peak after the Marmolada and the Marcora.
