This is a circular route that begins and ends in Arabba, passing through the high mountain passages of the Cherz. The long walk starts in Arabba. Take the trail parked 638 that goes to Passo Campolongo across green pastures. When you arrive at the top of the pass, near Hotel Laguscei, on the right side of the state road is the beginning of the path marked n. 3 called Jägerweg, which passes along a forest trail and goes to the Rifugio Incisa . From here you continue along the dirt road that goes to Cherz, passing by the namesake mountain dairy. After the dairy, a small path veers off to the right (n. 22), crossing the pastures that overlook the tiny districts of Cherz and Masarei. The trail ends once we get to the hamlet of Varda and from here, following the final tract along the state road, you return to Arabba. This walk is not too difficult if you exclude the first stretch up to the pass, but it is definitely long and so not particularly suited to small children.
