The tour of Enrosadira is amazing: at the sunrise and sunset the Dolomites assume a particular colour, pink and violet, becoming the most beautiful mountains in the world and Unesco World Natural Heritage. The tour will cross 7 passes of the Dolomites along 199 km. (You can short it as you like).
We suggest to start the tour at the foot of Marmolada, in Malga Ciapela. As it is a circular tour, the starting point can be any of the villages touched by the route.
From the starting point of the cable car in Malga Ciapela, follow the main road along the Val Pettorina with a fantastic view over the Serrai di Sottoguda. Alleghe, with its lake, Cencenighe and Agordo are the main villages crossed by the first part of the tour. Following the road to Passo Duran, you will find in front of you Monte Tamer and the San Sebastiano. On the opposite site, Monte Agner: one of the most beautiful mountain in the Dolomites. You reach Forno di Zoldo, where you can have a break before the uphill to Forcella Cibiana. A nice landscape surrounds Passo Cibiana where there is the way to “Museo nelle Nuvole of Monte Rite” (created by Reinold Messner). Onoce you have passed Forcella Cibiana, enter the village of Cibiana, famous for the murals. Just few km and you reach the Valle del Boite. In Pieve di Cadore you can visit the house of Tiziano Vecellio, a famous italian painter. Follow the main road direction Auronzo di Cadore and Misurina. In front of you the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo. The tour continues towards Cortina d’Ampezzo crossing the passo Cimabanche. Don't miss a stop in the well-known mountain town before leaving, direction Passo Falzarego. In few minutes you are at 2130 m a.s.l. Follow the downhill to Arabba. You can short the tour 2 km before Pieve di Livinallongo, turning left to Digonera and following the main road to Marmolada. For those who want to go on driving, the tour continues through Arabba and Passo Pordoi. Crossed the Passo Pordoi, you are now in Canazei, Trentino-Alto Adige.
