THE LITTLE CHURCH OF SOTTOGUDA
In 1482, in Italy, there was a violent plague and the inhabitants of Sottoguda and Laste promised themselves that if the disease had spared them, they would have built a church dedicate to San Fabiano and San Rocco. So it was and on the 24th September 1486 was consacrated. In 1881, it was damaged by a wildfire.
In 1904, to the two bays already existing, it was added another one and in 1922, the bell tower was rebuilt. On the external facade of the church, inside the two recesses, located laterally to the entrance, there are two old statues of the two saints.

THE CHURCH OF SANTA MARIA MADDALENA
It was build in 1442, today is a national monument and dominate the little town of Rocca Pietore. This church has a gotic style and hosts inside valuable works of art. One of this is the big altarpiece, builted in 1517 by Roberto Pottsch, an artist from Bressanone. Recently it was reported at the original splendor thanks to a careful restoration from the parish priest Luigi Calvi.
The tabernacle, located at the base of the piece, is finely worked and it dates back to 1600. In addition, there are also beautiful paintings that date back to 1580 and they adorn the vault of the church. They were created by Nicolò De Stefani. Very interesting are also the 14 stations of the Via Crucis, painted on the glass and bought in Venice from Don Pellegrino Sigismondi in 1779.
THE CHURCH OF SAN GOTTARDO
The church of San Gottardo is located on a little hill in a panoramic position with a unique beauty, where it is possible to dominate part of the high Agordino valley. It was built in 1863 from the architect Giuseppe Segusini. Originally the project was for the diocese of Treviso, that was considerate not suitable. The Laste's population, with some modifications, accepted it.
In 29 December 1626 the Bishop Giovanni Delfino gived to the Laste' population the possibility to separate it from Rocca Pietore. It was erect it a parish.
