Trekking - Lèch Dei Giai (Marmolada)

This ring route will take you to an enchanted Alpine lake ensconced in a solitary basin among the Cime d'Auta mountain chain , also nicknamed  "Lèch dei Giai" because in the summer grouse cocks nest here and wild mountain goat  inhabit this wild mountain terrain; this climbing trail holds inestimable naturalistic value. Start from the parking lot near the bridge that crosses the  Serrai, between Sottoguda and Malga Ciapela, passing through the beautiful pasture of  Franzei you head up towards the  forcella Pianezze before which you will turn towards the Negher lake or Lech dei Giai.
