TREKKING ROUTES | MONTE MIGOGN | MARMOLADA | DOLOMITES UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site
One of the most aerial and spectacular paths is the one that crosses mount Migogn by way of the famous high trail Alta Via delle Creste. From here there is a guaranteed 360 degree view towards the Marmolada and all the major Dolomite valleys. This excursion can be considered medium/medium high level in terms of challenge. The start can be either from Capanna Bill or by way of the convenient chair lift that goes to Passo Padon. With this option you avoid a significant altitude difference and thus can remain on the sunny peaks at the higher altitudes. You can also go up from Sottoguda, through a lovely area of forests and fields, with lovely historical mountain chalets along the way.
