A scenic and varied trail connecting Cortina d'Ampezzo with San Vito di Cadore on the orographic right of the Boite river.

The beautiful, little-travelled forest road to S. Vito begins at Socus, past the hill of the Zuel Olympic Ski Jump.

Immediately after crossing the bridge over the Boite river, take the road to the left and continue keeping to the left. Level stretches in the forest alternate with uphill and downhill stretches on dirt road.

The dirt road is very enjoyable and slightly downhill; after about 5 km we meet the first short climb, which allows us to warm up for the other two of about 50-60 m each.

The descent to Lake Mosigo then begins, crossing the Giralba bridge and following the flat road to Pian de l'Aga, which leads directly to Chiapuzza and the lake. Pay attention to the road surface, which could become challenging if it has rained on previous days.

On the opposite side of the lake, take the asphalt road uphill to the village centre. Before the church, cross the road and turn left onto the ‘Lunga Via delle Dolomiti’ cycle path, which leads back to Cortina in 45 minutes.
