Cortina Skyline

The Cortina Skyline gondola lift, which will open in 2021, is designed to reduce vehicle traffic and improve the road network on the Falzarego Pass, thus reducing the impact on the environment.

It connects the Tofana area (Pocol - Son dei Prade) with the 5 Torri (Bai de Dones) and thus with the entire area of Falzarego, Lagazuoi and, if desired, Alta Badia.

The connection was made by the company Leitner Ropeways with 52 10-seater cabins for an initial hourly capacity of 1,100 people; the length of the route is 4.6 km and takes about 15 minutes. It is worth taking the lift even if only for a panoramic trip with a view of the Dolomites, from the Sorapis to the mighty Tofane, the 5 Torri and the Lagazuoi.

In summer, bikers and pedestrians can use the transport to move comfortably from one area to another without moving their vehicles and thus reach the hiking trails, vie ferrate or mountain bike trails.

SUMMER OPENING: 29 June 2024.
